About your new role

The EL2 Implementation Lead will be responsible for leading the end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of implementation activities to achieve agreed project outcomes. In this fast-paced role, you will develop and maintain key governance artefacts, implementation plans, and delivery roadmaps while closely managing project budgets, expenditure tracking, and resource utilisation. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional business and technical teams to identify and manage risks, resolve dependencies, and ensure overall organisational readiness.

What you will need to exceed

  • A strong track record of managing implementation activities from initial planning through to successful execution.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability for project outcomes.
  • The ability to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and implementation impacts while managing complex technical and business dependencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with specific experience preparing executive briefings, governance papers, reports, and presentations
  • The ability to influence, negotiate, and build effective partnerships across all organizational levels, including senior stakeholders, business areas, and external vendors.
  • Competency in managing project budgets, tracking expenditure, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining key governance artifacts and roadmaps.
  • The capacity to work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight and frequently changing timeframes.

Desirable

  • Experience working within government, regulatory, public sector, or other highly governed environments
